Independence of the Seas
Once again Tarzan and I find ourselves on a cruise, this time across the Atlantic Ocean. We love the concept of cruising against long haul flying, if you have the time of course. These days there is usually not so much differential in the price either! We cruised from Southampton, England to Fort Lauderdale in the United States of America.

When going across the Atlantic there is usually about six or seven days at sea, which can be used to just relax and enjoy yourselves. There is always a lot to do, if you need to be entertained, and of course there are so many new friends to make. The more cruising that you do, the greater the chance of bumping into someone who you have seen from a previous cruise. This cruise was no exception, we bumped into Santa……..

Les (a santa look-a-like) does work as a Santa in the shopping malls in the USA on the run up to Christmas. He and his wife where having a vacation before the Christmas season began.
